The Today Show Spotlights Stephenville, Texas UFO Story

January 18, 2008 on 11:52 pm | In | No Comments

Hey, this isn’t fair!  NBC’s Today Show did a segment on the Stephenville, Texas UFO incident and it was well done and informative!  That’s not how the news is supposed to cover UFO stories!  They’re supposed to be condescending and irrational not thoughtful and endearing!  I demand someone go over to the Today Show and make them present this story with disingenous comments and banter!

All kidding aside.  It was refreshing to see someone actually spotlight this story, although with the giggle factor included, but without the condescending debunking nonsense.

Thanks Today Show!

This story is fantastic.  A scientist clones himself as well as fellow co-workers.

I wrote a comic book series about this 20 years ago called “RADREX” it was about gangster who was cloning the world’s most beautiful women for sale.  It’s been optioned for movie production several times. Prophetic.

Well, more is coming through.  With the proliferation of cell phone cameras and portable cameras we’ve seen a wave of new UFO photos come through.

This one is a gem.  It’s like I’ve been saying on this blog for a while that something is happening and soon we’ll have another spectacular mass sighting.  This time, unlike the Chicago O’Hare sighting, there won’t be any lack of pics.

UFO Photos Over Lake Travis, Texas?

Well Texans are reeling in more UFO stories.  This one in particular has a set of photos!

As usual for UFO photos they’re not crystal clear or focused well. I’ll touch on that in another post.  Basically most people can’t take a decent picture of familiar objects and surroundings so expecting them to become professionals when unexpected events occur and at high speeds may be asking too much.

Again, Stephenville, Texas UFO Hits ABC News

January 16, 2008 on 7:48 pm | In | No Comments

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=4142232&page=1

Here’s another story this time from ABC regarding the growing Stephenville, Texas UFO event.

This story has more data from the eyewitnesses themselves which is always valuable.

It’s amazing however, that only in regard to UFO cases do scientists and the media berate the eyewitnesses.  There’s a bigotry here that is unfounded in reason nor respect.  People have been convicted of murder and sentenced to death on flimsier evidence than that of many celebrated UFO events.  For some reason if it’s a UFO suddenly all our neighbors and family and friends suffer from an unvalidated inability to perceive and relate their experiences.  Suddenly they’re ‘exaggerating’ or ‘crazy’ or some other idiotic claim.

It’s time we treat the situation with fairness and professional candor.

Did Aliens Send A Message To SETI?

http://www.ktvu.com/news/15054540/detail.html

Often UFOlogists joke about the SETI program, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. It uses the radio receivers from Arecebo in Puerto Rico and other technologies including your own home computer to listen to and process specific signals coming in from outer space.

They’re looking for radio signals that would indicate an intelligent origin.

Facetiously referred to as “ET call home.” based on the 1980 movie “ET”.

I’ve always wondered what if extraterrestrials didn’t have ears?

Seriously, this is news and worth watching.  Big questions about whether we could or should answer messages from outer space.  We’ve already exposed our entire culture to the universe from our own radio and tv transmissions.  50+ light years away ( the distance light travels in a year in a vacuum ) our transmissions of “I Love Lucy” and “Superman” have reached several dozen star systems.  If anyone is there and they’re searching the skies too, they’re wondering if Lucy will have a boy or a girl.

Videos, Pictures of Stephenville, Texas UFO?

January 16, 2008 on 2:23 pm | In | No Comments

There’s so much news about this story I’m too worn out to post them all.

I am wondering if someone has any videos or pictures of the Stephenvill, Texas UFO?

If there are it would be good to analyze them to further the investigation.  MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network is sending a half dozen investigators to the area to accumulate infomation.  Hopefully they’ll be able to dig something up.

I am wondering why no witnesses have made the big UFO radio programs.

Stephenville, Texas UFO …. The Story Just Won’t Stop

January 16, 2008 on 6:19 am | In | No Comments

http://www.nbc5i.com/news/15058873/detail.html?rss=dfw&psp=news

Little by little more is emerging regarding this story.  This is wonderful because the more data we have the more chance we have of getting to the bottom of this mystery.

It’s always wise not to get too excited about a UFO story because that excitement can cloud one’s ability to rationally analyze and process the data at hand.  When excited one’s imagination may go into exaggeration and we miss the mark on measurements and other vital data.

Two years ago in November 2006 another mass sighting occured at Chicago’s O’hare Airport in front of numerous witnesses yet no solid evidence as in photos has emerged to the general public.  However, photos sent to private groups are said to be intriguing. Video too.  Some are to be presented in documentary form soon for commercial profit.  When commercial profit comes into play one must always keep an eye peeled for chicanery.

UFOs, because of Hollywood and the media and well established protocol to debunk and humiliate witnesses, have that stigma.  It’s horrid considering the true life stories of victims and witnesses.  You don’t know real terror til you speak to a bona fide UFO abductee.  Elsewhere on this blog you’ll read why.

ABC’s “The VIEW” says UFO witnesses are crazy?

January 15, 2008 on 6:34 pm | In | No Comments

The Stephenville UFO story is all over the news and the popular morning talk show “The VIEW” touched briefly on the story.

Unfortunately instead of an intelligent discussion about the issue, co-host Joy Behar immediately referred that there were “crazy people everywhere” in regard to the story.  Behar is a veteran comedienne and since UFOs have an established giggle factor already and she of course took advantage of it.  That’s fine for the giggles and fits, but a good chance at discussing the issue was destroyed with a disingenous comment right off the bat.

The media is our via to exchanging information much like the web, however, when subjects are constantly being treated with scorn instead of level headed analysis it does a disservice to us all.

So email “The VIEW” and tell Ms. Behar how you feel about being in the ‘Crazy’ dept.

Music To Be Invaded By

Well if we’re going to be invaded by aliens from another world we ought to do so in style.  Nothing beats the big band era of the 30′s and 40′s for tearing up the rug.  Also those smooth melodies by groups like the Modernaires who sang one of my favorite call signs to the legendary radio program “The Milkman’s Matinee”.  If you liked The Milkman’s Matinee you’ll love KCEA FM 89.1 from Atherton, California.  What’s extra nifty is that you can tune in for free online!  Just get your Winamp radio player and you’re all set!  Go to www.winamp.com and get your free player and use the search function for KCEA.

I know some guys would rather listen to hard bit metal like in a video game but this UFO thing started in the late 40′s and into the 50′s and the soundtrack to our assimilation should be accordingly.
