Check out my new illustrated children’s book on stem cells
September 1, 2009 on 4:52 am | In History, Science, Social Networking | No CommentsIn my secret identity I’m still a professional illustrator having worked in newspapers, editorial cartoons, comic books, fine art.
This year I was fortunate enough to propose a children’s book for the Repair Stem Cell Institute headed by Mr. Don Margolis. Mr. Margolis is the first person to ever establish a commercially successful adult stem cell treatment center. He spends his time and money traveling the world consulting and funding adult stem cell treatment centers. He has hired the world’s top stem cell scientists and I figured Don could use a children’s book to help the public and press understand what stem cells are and can be trained to do.
You can check out the book at the Repair Stem Cells Institute’s website by clicking this link.
It’s a non profit organization that educates and consults people in need of life saving treatments that meet Don’s strict standards for excellence. You’ll be amazed at what can be treated nowadays and what’s on the near horizon.
The book is called “Doris and the Super Cells” and is about a little stem cell named Doris who has to overcome many challenges to become the super cell she needs to be to help save a little boy.
