The day before the site went up, Jeff broke one of the most important stories in UFO history. A retired Air Force Colonel got on the air live and disclosed that it was his job as part of the Pentagon’s investigation team regarding UFOs to examine UFO crash sites! No one ever has come forward with as much information and it’s shaking the halls of UFOlogy. His name is Col. According to this story, NASA and other space officials are bewildered regarding an object that will speed past Earth on Wednesday January 13, 2010.

The object won’t hit Earth but it’s presence confounds the experts.

This has the ingredients of a panic attack story as it is on the 13th of a month and it is a mysterious object in outer space.

Just keep your shirts on and don’t fall for any doomsday shenanigans folks.

San Diego Residents Report Red Lights In Sky

Here’s a news story with video and pictures of a series of red lights seen and reported by residents of San Diego, California.

In recent years such sightings are dismissed as the use of Chinese Lanterns which are small hot air balloon type celebratory decorations that float in the air up to half a mile high and can burn for 20 minutes staying illuminated.

As you’ll note in the story, these lanterns are singular objects and some of the objects reported might fit that description but there are still some questions left.

My biggest concern is that these floating lanterns require a candle to illuminate and send the balloon aloft.

Can anyone say, FIRE HAZARD???

Couple Call 911 Reporting Bigfoot Sighting Near San Antonio, Texas

Although this isn’t an UFO story, it is interesting in that in order to verify this account of a bigfoot/sasquatch sighting the same principles are employed as one would use in researching an UFO sighting.

This 911 call is from a homeless couple who camp in the woods near the 151 and 1604 highways. The woman tells the 911 dispatcher of her and her husband’s sighting of a bigfoot that they say was eating a deer. You can read the story and listen to the 911 call that is about 8 minutes in length by clicking here.

The woman and her husband sound credible and give good details. Next step is what did the police and investigators find. Were there any footprints or tracks, hair, blood, deer carcass, sign of a struggle. As you can see from the Google maps the area is populated and there are several restaurants and businesses nearby the large intersections. WOIA REPORTS TRACKS FOUND NEAR SAN ANTONIO BIGFOOT SIGHTING

WOIA reports that strange tracks, evaluated as being not human were found near the sighting of a bigfoot reported in the story above near San Antonio. This is the next step in researching this story.

Here you have the procedure and hierarchy of the incident. First there is a sighting by two witnesses. That’s a plus side. Both witnesses report the story to the authorities. The authorities and researchers and media investigate. Further evidence is found to support the witnesses story. Now the next step is to search for more trace case evidence and assess that evidence to come to a sound evaluation and result.

RICHARD C. HOAGLAND’S ANALYSIS OF NORWAY SPIRAL AERIAL PHENOMENON

I’ve been fortunate to chat with Coast To Coast AM’s Science Advisor, Richard C. Hoagland. Mr. Hoagland is renowned for his analysis of science issues in the news and has been a lecturer, former NASA advisor and advisor to CBS News to name a few of his accolades. He owns and operates the popular website ENTERPRISE MISSION.

He sent me a link to his latest research regarding his analysis of the recent aerial phenomenon over Norway in which a huge spiral accompanied by a big blue beam had made headlines all over the world.

No sensationalism here, just a nuts and bolts look at what he feels is the true source of the phenom.

Likewise in Russia, there have been several strange aerial phenomena over the past year including a huge ring of light in the clouds, strange shapes such as swords, pyramids etc. startling and amazing folks all over the world. We’re lucky to have folks like Mr. Hoagland around to give us an insight into how science investigates these phenomena.

Now this video is one of those videos that catches one’s eye.

It’s of a supposed Iranian missile test of a short range missile. During the video an object traveling at incredible speeds tears through a cloud leaving the cloud itself shorn in two from the object’s passing.

UFOlogists have read and heard reports of UFOs interacting with missiles and weapons tests since the dawn of UFOlogy and Iran has had a long history of interaction with military craft and ordinance and UFOs. Some of the best documented UFO accounts have taken place in Iran.

So why Iran? It’s surmised that these UFOs have been secret devices of U.S. or Israeli origin and may well be so but this time there’s video. You can bet if this video is authentic it will be studied extensively.

UFOs are a big subject of interest in Iran. I can tell you because the web traffic this blog The UFO Mafia gets does indeed come from Iran and in one case one of the articles I’ve written here actually appeared on Iran’s top newspaper website The Iran Times. Something is going on in Iran and has been for a very long time.

Looks like this is the year for monster’s showing up all over the place it seems. At first one looks at these reports with the proper skeptical eye and waits for the solid scientific analysis. The difference nowadays is that with the proliferation of video cameras we’re getting better pictures to go along with the initial data. Hoaxes or not, every bit of info helps not only explain the reported phenomena but how past and future phenomena can be managed. Take a look at these three stories.
