Sighting lasted 3-5 minutes and could have been mistaken for an aircraft except that the 3lights were too bright and non-blinking. The object seemed to be stationary or barely drifting (<10mph)totally silent and seemed to be missing a fuselage but a boomerang outline of "wings" could be seen as it went directly over me at approx. 1000 ft heading east. He states that taxi drivers going up and down the Taconic Parkway have reported sightings again of the boomerang in Fall 2008.
